Frostbite...in
Bermuda?
Laser
sailors from many other countries get a chuckle out of
our calling Winter sailing in Bermuda
'Frostbiting'. Compared to the Bermudian Summer,
it is a LITTLE colder but nowhere near as cold as in
Northern climes!!
With a relatively small pool of
local sailors, the Summer season gets really
hectic. Many Laser owners are in fact,
off-season Laser sailors - having a J24,
Etchells22 or International One Design (IOD) to campaign
during the Spring & Summer.
Once again, the BLCA Frostbite Series will
be not only hosted by the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy
Club (RHADC) - as always - but also organized by them as
well.
